VFS has made a lot of improvements lately, As compared to what they were half decade ago primarily the staff's soft skills had improved a lot. I couod get a pleasant feeling unlike in the past. There are still more processes that VFS can consider making customer friendly e.g. the attrocious wait time taken during submission of application - Agent with bulk submission takes up all the time. if the individual submission and bulk submission are kept separate it could help.
