Not a pleasant place to be. Organised a very professional photoshoot with two outside participants who noticed the impolite and rude attitude on arrival at BCU Parkside Campus. VERY embarrassing. Informed the blonde haired lady on reception I was here regarding a shoot I had booked in a months advance and needed the participants to sign in yet gave dirty looks to the visitors as they wasn't sure what information was needed in some of the required boxes. Once signed in and passes had been allocated, she accused me of trying to tail gate the visitors through the barriers and instead of informing me that they had a certain gate to go through, she publicly questioned 'How do you plan to get them through the gate then? Instead of directing me on how the process goes. First time bringing professional artists into BCU, I wasn't aware that their visitor passes didn't have a barcode for them to use on gates themselves as a normal student would once signed in. The visitors picked up on her attitude and disrespectful approach and commented on how they had never been spoken to like that before at any other university. I had no words and felt very embarrassed to say I was a student here. Reception staff were extremely unpleasant.
