I've shopped Beta through their online store for years. I love their stuff (pants, shirts,, sweaters, and a bag). Today was the first time that I ventured into the store.

Two of us walked into the store on Valencia. There were two guys that were behind the counter chatting and chuckling with one another. There was one other shopper there. This is a very small store. Small enough that it would be practically impossible to not notice two shoppers walking in and browsing.

The folks working there were apparently so engrossed in their conversation that they never once looked up to acknowledge us. I mean not a single word was said to us. It was oddly dismissive. The experience was such a turn off that we left after less that 10 minutes and are now heading to other shops that carry equally unique styles, but don't act like basic customer service is optional.
