If it's good enough for Penny Oleksiak and the rest of the Canadian swim and synchro team, then it's good enough for the rest of us. It's a good example of repurposing a swim center for a games meet into a sustaining new community center open to all that injects a revitalized feel into Toronto's east end.

The building itself looks staid with its modular design and use of concrete and steel broken up with splashes of colour. Hopefully it can be kept current with the times. There's good use of natural light in parts of the facility but not in the main hall, probably to satisfy TV cameras with the use of artificial lighting.
