We had a wonderful experience at AERC; everyone was so compassionate and concerned while Kona was being treated for an inflamed foot back in February. It was heartbreaking for us to see her like that and not know what happened to cause her to limp and have so much swelling. We were passing through on our way to Key West in our RV and only in the area for 2 days. What a relieve that we found you! The day after Kona's laser and hyperbaric oxygen treatment, we saw much improvement. She could put some weight on her foot and the swelling was starting to go down. I can't say that we weren't worried as we continued down to the Keys, but in a few days we knew it would all turn around. Thank you Dr. Lyman, Dr. DeRoin and all the rest of the vet staff...Thank you for making Kona well and saving our vacation. Photo #1 is Kona with her laser goggles on.
