I would NEVER recommend this facility, please go to a Hospital ER.
From the time my daughter and I walked in the receptionist was extremely rude. My daughter had been sick for 3 days and our primary Doctor sent us to Crucial Care or Hospital ER to have them check her for Meningitis because she could not check this in her office.
We have full health care insurance and before they would even see her or take her back (she was in a lot of pain) all they were concerned with was insurance. I told them she had been here before and that they had her insurance information....still, it didn't matter, they made us sit until they called the insurance to find out if we were covered. After they called she informed me that I had a $300 co-pay...I told her that I didn't have any credit card on me (due to the fact that someone got ahold of it and my bank closed that account and I hadn't got my new card)...she then said that "policy states that they don't bill"....so I tried several times to get ahold of my husband, but couldn't! I explained and she still said "sorry" got to have $300 before being seen....CRAZY!!
I then said, look I live close, can I bring you the money tomorrow? She said again, "sorry"! Now, my daughter is sitting there feeling horrible, running fever, can't move her neck!
So then I said, "so what you are saying is that you are denying my daughter treatment because I can't pay my $300 co-pay but am fully insured....I tried everything to get ahold of my husband to see how I could pay, giving the fact that our accounts were closed and new ones were opened and I didn't have my new cards yet!!
They wouldn't see her....horrible, horrible HORRIBLE!!
We left and had to drive to Baptist!!
