I had a hellish experience with CReATe and would not want ANY OTHER WOMAN TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID.

I experienced a seizure followed by 6 DAYS of total insomnia, terrible nausea, vomiting, severe chills, sustained headache, dehydration and thrush as a result of the way this clinic administers ovarian stimulation drugs.

They DENIED MY SYMPTOMS THROUGHOUT, such that the partner agency (Egghelpers) WOULDN'T REIMBURSE ME my thousands of dollars of expenses in the end.

More details below :

On the 8th day of the injections, I experienced a seizure in my bathroom, which my 3 year old son witnessed. I went to bed immediately with nausea, and intermittent fever and chills.

I called one of my nurses who spoke Dr Librach, who said he/they had NEVER heard of my symptoms before, that they were NOT related to the process, and that surely I had caught a virus.

[Separately, a physician friend of mine confirmed that I was in fact experiencing ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome, which the clinic is well acquainted with, meaning what they told me was a TOTAL LIE].

The nurse advised me to go to a walk in clinic (for a virus??) but that if the walk in doctor advised me to terminate the process, to NOT listen as terrible things could happen to my health, and to NOT to call an ambulance or go to emergency (although I had just SEIZURED).

When I suggested that i couldn't carry on with the injections, she said that NO ONE had EVER terminated the process before (Bold face lie #2), and spoke to me as though I didn't have the option to do so.

She told me NOT TO DRINK ANY WATER DESPITE EXTREME HEAT conditions, and urged me to come in the next morning for an assessment, which meant taking 1000 mg of Advil so that I could be stable enough to drive my son and I back from 4 hours away. That night, I experienced more nausea, vomiting and total insomnia.

The next morning NO ONE assessed me at the clinic; in fact, I did not meet Dr Librach or any other doctor at CReATe at all throughout my 12 unfortunate days dealing with them. Luckily, however, I spoke to a more educated nurse who assured me that I could terminate the process whenever I wanted to, and that yes, I could drink some water.

All of the above mentioned symptoms continued and worsened that day, so I decided to terminate the process. I was assured by my worker at Egghelpers that I would still be reimbursed for my expenses, which was NOT true, because CReATe told them behind my back that I did NOT need to terminate, despite knowing the gravity of my symptoms.

Therefore, of 5 missed days of work and a number of other expenses I was reiumbursed ZERO dollars.

The next morning when I went in for the termination injection to end the process, looking unwell as ever, both nurses looked at me with contempt, and neither asked how I was doing.

EVERY OTHER HEALTH PROFESSIONAL whom I talked to outside of the clinic concurred that I was experiencing ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome, which can have TERRIBLE consequences if not treated. Meaning, the nurses at the clinic are either highly under-informed or EXPLICITLY TRAINED TO LIE TO THEIR PATIENTS.

Another donor whom I spoke to in the waiting room had donated a handful of times at OTHER clinics, where she said they don't give nearly as much drugs for as many days, and that at CreAte she felt like a number.

After the termination injection, I experienced all the above symptoms for 3 more days, in total making 6 days of hellish health.

I have NEVER BEEN SO ILL IN MY LIFE, and I would hate for you to experience this. They intentionally DOWN PLAY the possible side effects so as to attract more donors, and intentionally DO NOT INFORM YOU OF HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF FINANCIALLY should you need to terminate the process.

I filed a formal complaint to Dr Librach's college, to which he gave an utterly meaningless response. It is TERRIFYING and DISGUSTING that he oversees such a highly risky and sensitive area of medicine, and essentially, the lives of thousands of young vulnerable women eager to make a buck.

Please protect yourselves!
