The subway was right across the street and the atmosphere was safe. The famous tourist spots are not right in front of you, but Paris is so small that you'll never have to go anywhere. (If you had a hard time, the impact of the strikes that have been going on for months ..) The floor wasn't very clean. I stay without any inconvenience while staying.
