having just returned from a trip to Berlin and Budapest i was disgusted by the treatment of my German girlfriend by the bouncers at this pub. At closing time, four testosterone and steroid infused thugs intimidated her to tears after what had up to then been a great night in the west end of Glasgow. We were not causing any trouble but my girlfriend wanted to finish her drink, that she had paid for while 4 burly men reduced her to tears and threw her out on the street. When myself and a friend attempted to find her we were met with a stoney wall of musclebound officials who would absolutely not check the toilets or anywhere else at 4 am for a missing woman. When I eventually found her with a kind soul (Tom) who took care of her and consoled her she informed me of their gestapo like tactics. I am ashamed as a Scotsman that we treat innocent law abiding people like this in our country and this pub should have it's security policy reviewed. I would not recommend this place to any of my European friends who come to this country for a sociable night out. This sort of bullying behavior does not happen ANYWHERE ELSE IN EUROPE.
