We bought corn fresh from the store in July, cooked it that day. It was as tough and flavorless as field corn. (cow corn). But I didn't want to complain. Last night we had a blueberry pie for dessert. The skins on the berries were so tough, it was like chewing paper. It was weird! Two visits, two disappointments. We won't be going back.
