Compared to the NDR, which I got to know decades ago (see e.g. the program of the unfortunately deceased Dr. Erwin Marcus), today's station is with silliness like "Here are the Freses" and related nonsense plus almost full-day tralala- Music is just a single embarrassment, overall, perhaps even below the level of Radio Hamburg & Co., albeit with good news and decent reporting. There is therefore a considerable need for improvement in the direction of. Respectability. Once you had recognized the seriousness of the situation and life, laughter died quickly, because "Laughter kills fear and without fear there can be no faith." The unsurpassed Deutschlandfunk was of course decisive for the quality of a radio station. But he too exaggerated it, albeit in the other direction, in which he tried desperately to intellectualize third-rate pop music or art that was actually none.
Conclusion: If the hourly five-minute news plus superficial conversation was enough, the NDR of today was not bad.
