We had our windows replaced ten years ago. All of them were sliders except for one casement window. The mechanism on the casement window has rusted to pieces. There is SUPPOSED TO BE a lifetime warranty, but now they tell me they don't use that mechanism anymore and don't have parts. They gave me some places to try for replacement parts. So I have to try and find one, pay of for it and repair it myself. Wow...that warranty really paid off!
