Review of GCU

I have attended Gcu for three years. I lived in Papago the past year, and I was told if I paid $100, I would be secured a spot on campus. I figured I would get to spend my last semester in a room filled with good friends that I have lived with for the past two years. That was not the case. When I got on to try and get housing, I found that all upperclassman housing was already filled. Even worse, it has been filled by athletes (of any grade) and ASGCU students because they got earlier time-slots. Head of housing won't even compromise and return my $100 since I chose to live off campus now. Many of my SENIOR friends are having to live off campus because sophomores are taking their spots in the on-campus housing, only leaving freshman dorms available. Who wants to live in a freshman dorm their senior year? Now, I find myself stressed out, looking for apartments when I should be studying for finals coming up. Maybe GCU should give more attention to the students they currently have (that have been here for three years) instead of inviting in thousands of new ones that they clearly do NOT have room for. So frustrated and hurt by this whole process. GCU is turning into a money-crazed school who only cares about taking your money then not helping you out at all. Done. Can't wait to be away from it.
