I have never been in store but just moved to the area. I usually order my dog food online since many stores don't carry it. I noticed Total Pet Care a few blocks away is listed as a retailer so I called them to inquire about what they charge as I'd rather support a small business as long as the price wasn't astronomically higher than online. The employee that answered the phone was nice, but informed me they were not allowed to give out exact prices unless I had their store customer card. I feel this is a poor policy as a potential customer that was ready to bring all my business to the store as it is in walking distance. Not giving prices to people solely based on whether or not they are already a customer not only alienates new customers, but makes me question how transparent their pricing is. So now I suppose I will continue to order online or find another brick and mortar store where they are happy to serve any customer that is interested in their business.
