No matter how good the experience of staying at the hotel is - it is highly off putting and frankly sickening to walk through the complete and utter stench of perfumed corridor that you hit as soon as you leave the hotel or the terminal to go to the terminal. It is truly disgusting and left me with streaming eyes and a cough for 5 minutes afterwards. Get rid of it please. It does NOT enhance the experience at all.

Check In male was far far too over familiar and thought he was humorous. We didn't think he was either and it would have been much nicer if he had been quicker and more efficient.

New beds and pillows are a good improvement on the old type used. Shame there is no complimentary water in the room considering how much we paid for the room.

Ridiculous small lift to get up to the next floor and then walk to another wing. Apparently no stair option either as when we tried to walk down them the fire exit door at the bottom was locked......???? Oh really ??? Wonder what London fire brigade would say to that Sofitel?
