Breakfast and location ok. Wi-fi keeps disappearing. The furniture in the rooms is old. The hotel is in need of major refurbishment, shabby elevators, terrible thin pillows in the rooms.
Absolutely Soviet service and attitude towards the guest. A 5 star hotel is not a bed in gold. People pay for their stay in such hotels in order to get guaranteed positive emotions. I had an old iron in my room with a blackened sole. I ignored it and ruined my shirt. The iron was replaced with a new one. The next day, a customer service representative said: "We checked all our irons and they are all right. You have an old shirt and you ironed it wrong and there is nothing to iron at all - you should have called us." In general, the shirt remained for them as a keepsake, but I only had negative emotions from a 3-day stay.
I insisted on meeting with the manager, and before leaving, she honored me with a business card, assured me that all their irons were good and apologized. But if the irons are good, then what to apologize for?
A bag of salted peanuts for 15 euros in a minibar touched and caused nostalgia for the 90s. In my opinion, "Baltschug" still lives somewhere there. Never ever.
