I was there for the clothing closet. I thought because I was moving into a place after starting over fresh with everything that I could stop by to see if there were items that I could really use. Well, while looking I noticed that other individuals had mops, sniffers, brooms, etc. Then a question was asked to staff by the young lady that was with me if there were anymore. She then brought out a bucket full. Instead of just grabbing everything I looked to see what I needed because others need as well. While looking I was bombarded by others and they just started grabbing things and they already had the same items if not more in their cart. The lady that pulls from the back started yelling and saying leave. I then explained that it wasnt me and it were the other individuals calling chaos. She was very rude! At that point I told her about her attitude and I said you know what forget it. She replied " Good and bye". I walked off and went to security and asked for the supervisor which he led me to her office and the whole time I explained the situation that occurred she was smiling. Had nothing to say and showed no empathy. I then asked for her supervisor. She provided me with a phone number and I left a message and yet no return call. I am very displeased. I only use these services when they are needed. I'm now stuck with trying to find an agency that gives without attitude and not look down on a person because they need help. Not a single soul know when they may need someone. As a supervisor of that department, I would have never handled a client the way she did which explains that most people are there for just a salary. Maybe they should hire indiv that have been in situations before because they can relate and show compassion. The setup for this project needs a lot of work starting with staff.
