Bought an under the counter Ice Machine that failed after roughly nine months, called Summit as it was still under warranty and they sent a technician out to try to fix it. The tech they sent out determined it would need to be replaced, but left the power and water running after he left which resulted in flooding to my basement. Summit is unwilling to stand behind the damage caused by who they sent out. Ray, the Customer Experience Manager is only willing to pay for half of the damage without pictures of the piping behind the wall that passed inspection less than a year ago. Breaking open the walls to get some pictures was described as an "inconvenience" that they are not willing to cover the cost of. I highly recommend finding a company that is willing to stand behind their products and their work. I will never buy another Summit appliance again.
