I enjoyed the High Tea, sandwiches and scones were...

I enjoyed the High Tea, sandwiches and scones were yummy but feel the cafe could do with an update. The table we were at had paint peeling on the wall next to us and the place just feels very average considering it s a tourist spot, I would have imagined somewhere that looks more quintessentially English.
I would recommend for a high tea but not for a special occasion. I went for a friends birthday and it just didn t feel special enough.
