Tried this hyped Unagi restaurant. We got the seat near the entrance just besides their eels pool. Many of the eels were already floating, maybe dead, smells fishy, borderline pungent.

Got our order real quick, as if they already prepared it before hand. The soup was warm not hot so was the Unagi. They don t arrange the unagi nicely like what we had in Japan, they sliced it way too many times.

The unagi is tender but the meat is thin. No fishy smell, thanks god. They provide fresh wasabi that we need to grate it ourself. Overall the food is quite good, just hope they give freshly made dish every time though. And definitely, don t sit near the eels pool.
