Horrible experience...what kind of emergency facil...

Horrible experience...what kind of emergency facility can't do emergency surgery? I was told one surgeon was on vacation and the other was an hour away. More frustrating is that I called ahead before I came in. Shouldn't they have told me on the phone that they couldn't (or wouldn't) do the surgery? Beware!!!!
