Not quite sure how to start and how to put into words what this hotel is .... go and try it ... this hotel is literally what nightmares are made of !!!!

In the car on the way to Preston Palace I was looking forward to it; invited by family, together with the family, in short, nice !! Since I did not book this myself, I had the attitude: I let myself be surprised.

We arrive in a wonderfully renovated reception hall, really beautiful. 2 rooms were ready so stuff could go in .. I was looking forward to spend a few days in an air-conditioned hotel, wonderful !! Error 1! This is the last hotel in the world that has NO AIR CONDITIONING. Yes, in some rooms it is, but in your room it is just 35 degrees !! Fortunately, there is sun protection to keep out the greatest heat ..... Mistake 2! No because it is just completely broken, does not work, full of the sun in our 50% renovated room .. the rest just got stuck somewhere in the 80s / 90s. I saw a room door open from a renovated room 100% but just no air conditioner that had the window open and the door open to get fresh air in ...

You might think that my standards are perhaps very high, but I regularly visit the cheapest hotel per / night where for 55 euros per night you just have the icicles hanging on your nose at 35 degrees outside .. if you want . So there is something wrong here and certainly not in order. Seriously 2018 no air conditioning in the room .... oh yes, you can rent a fan or bring your own. The deposit is 50 euros per / fan. We have only just arrived and are allowed to collect ff 150 euros extra for 3 rooms .. let's see what costs will be returned after renting. You will not find the amounts, but you will find the message that this is a completely air-conditioning-free environment under the heading 'question and answer' (screenshot I attach ...)

Fortunately, the mattresses are good despite the tight 35 degrees in the bedroom with fan .. Error 3! In this 80s / 90s room the mattresses are made of
A kind of trampoline-like feather suit that feels like something that could jump on as a child of 3, but as an adult, it is left with a serious back problem.

I've slept for 2 hours now, looking forward to the morning as this is a day closer to home away from this HELL.

Before my wife and I went into the night we took a stroll around Preston Palace; in other words, how was the rest of day 1 here. We went for a swim in the beautiful pool where my youngest of 9 is called upon not to wear a shirt .. my mistake indeed, not seen: protocol is protocol ..... we are in the pool the following occurs: suddenly one of the lifeguards is whistling madly ... normally lifeguards never notice, but this one does. In the meantime, the whole pool is watching .. I already have the fright. The heart it will not be a child with something to do .... no it was a kissing couple under the waterfall .... probably protocol that says undesirable behavior !!! Affection is not tolerated within Preston Palace and then explain to a 9th year old what those people did wrong ... hello folks, these are your guys who drip their tails between their legs when you are put in the spotlight. Lessons for you as a guest: if you come for romance, never choose this hotel ... no, not!

The cinema is also nice and cool, but I want to advise you if you are over 1.80 tall and weigh more than 20 kg you do not fit here I watched a movie here and it took 45 minutes before I could walk normally again .. short seat and a posture as if you have put the seat and backrest completely straight in your car and just got stuck with your knees and are going to do a 2-hour ride ... watching a movie is fun, ergonomics figure for this space is well deserved - 7.
