The Winston-Salem Chronicle is extremely outdated....

The Winston-Salem Chronicle is extremely outdated. They have not taken the next step past newspaper. They have visions of what they want to be but no one that works there has the experience or knowledge to to execute. The owner is clueless on what it takes to be relevant in 2017 in media. He is also arrogant and rude which has left a bad taste in the mouths of many prominent people in Winston-Salem. They are not where the Winston-Salem Journal was 10 years ago and won't be in 10 more years. The city of Winston-Salem already had to bail them out once with funding and probably will have to again. The bail out would not be necessary if the Chronicle adjusted properly with the times and became a community media outlet that understands how to capitalize on digital media. The building is run down on the inside and outside. As a person of color myself I do not hate the Chronicle. I am just giving an assessment of a company.
