Ruined our holiday do not stay here. I would say the rooms are mediocre. Today is Easter and I am a single mom traveling with my three kids. We left our room an hour and 15 mins before we would need to leave for the airport so I could treat the kids to a nice Easter breakfast across the street before traveling all day. 45 minutes later we were still trying to get an elevator to take us downstairs. I even called the front desk to see if I could get assistance getting down. I was hung up on after trying to explain. My kids and I had to drag our luggage down 17flights of stairs. The breakable souvenirs we hoped would last are now broken from having to bang luggage down 17 flights of stairs. So now we are headed to the airport not being able to eat with a day of travel ahead of us on Easter no less. I called back again from the Uber to try and speak with a manager and was shuffled around and around before being sent to a basic voicemail. Thia is my fourth trip to New York and the least impressive room I've ever had. Customer service is just ok. They don't tell you about the $40 a day convenience fee you will be charged. It's great to pay for the convenience of ruining my holiday and not being Able to get an elevator down for 45 mins. We were not alone in the frustration. Every floor was packed with people trying to get on an elevator. If you are traveling alone and can take the stairs and don't need a very nice room stay here because the location is great. Not good for families. Keep looking and pay a little more for a better experience
