I was very happy with the added attention, and patience the service person gave me when explaining what was wrong with my laptop. It's rather old and apparently had a bad hard disk. The news could have been very bad and I had not backed up any of my files. I never even thought about that untill they asked me if I had my information backed up somewhere else!

They explained in advance that I might possibly have lost everything because my laptop had been acting up for awhile, but that they had special software that can sometimes find information even on a failing hard disk.

I was delighted when they told me they could find what they thought were most of my files - I still needed a new hard disk, but saving my stuff and talking to me about the process and the risks really made me feel like they treated me well.

And now I know better. I will try to always back up anything important to me. I guess I didn't realize that I could lose all my important info, but anyway, if I ever need service again, I'll come back.
