I called the Records Department and asked to have my 87 yr. old dad s emergency visit records faxed to a local doctor s office. After not hearing from the doctor regarding a time for an appointment for over 5 hrs., I called the receiving doctor and asked if the records had been received. They had not received his records. How irresponsible of the first receptionist! (I live out of town and my dad has made comments regarding the incompetence of the health care workers in Erie. Now, I will believe him when he makes further comments.). Luckily, Becca, another receptionist was able to send them over to the doctor s office by hitting one key on the computer.
