bought and sold homes with Morgan Hodges of MoJo. Mind you, I heavily considered getting my realtor license just to save on fees knowing that we d be buying and selling - and it adds up! But I am so glad I didn t go that route - and I am sure we bought at a better price and sold at a better price because of him so the fees paid for themselves. Plus, we really felt the value in using Morgan specifically when comparing him to the far less impressive realtors we worked with during our home sale and some of the showings we went to during our house search. He is an experienced and motivated realtor, and I am so glad I took my friends recommendations to use him. Morgan handled every aspect of our purchase, which was fast and seamless (preceded by a very long process to find the right house! We weren t in a hurry and were looking for the perfect house but Morgan patiently showed us houses for about 6 months - prepandemic, and then we took a break once Rona started getting crazy. But one day Morgan checked in to make sure we saw a house that was on the market because it seemed to hit almost everything on my checklist and it was the perfect house. As for selling, despite us being very nervous about the market, he just seemed to know exactly what to expect based on everything that he was constantly reading. He gave recommendations for what to do to prep for sale (and contacts for excellent contractors), then their photographer came to take pictures (also phenomenal) and we put our house on the market for $30,000 more than what we had planned to do, at Morgan s insistence (he said we could ask for higher but we were too resistant) We had a showing scheduled for an hour later, plus 24 showings in the next two days - ending up with 8 offers in 3 days, and for another $30,000 over asking price which was about $60,000 over what the random online websites were telling us to expect - however Morgan predicted it all along. The sale went pretty smoothly, but at the last hour there were a few hiccups on the buyers end but Morgan kept on top of the situation and seemed to practically predict what would happen the entire time - it was so nice having someone that has seen it all and knew typical timelines and chain of events. So yes, we bought and sold in the middle of a pandemic and still had amazing success thanks to Morgan!
