Ok, lets be honest here. The 18 hole golf course at Toronto has never been in worse shape than it is right now (aug 2020)Tee boxes look like the pga held 3 weeks in a row of tournaments. The greens are horrible, slow, inconsistent and no true rolls, even from 2ft.The ground under repair areas are everywhere, and could and should include many more areas on the course. Its no wonder the club has recently fired the superintendent. This isnt just a situation of a very dry summer in the area. Lakeview right across the road, a public muni is in better shape, as are almost every other course(public +private) in the gta right now. Staff is terrific at Toronto, as is the service and food. But the actual course right now is actually embarrassing for the members.
