The EMP Museum (formally known as the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum) is quite possibly one of the coolest museums in the country. The museum is dedicated to all things popular culture, with a big (and I mean BIG) emphasis on music. The EMP is filled with everything your inner nerd could ever want including Dalek statues, original manuscripts from the Lord of the Rings, several of Lady Gaga s outfits, and Nirvana s first demo tape. There are exhibits ranging from the icons of science fiction to Jimi Hendrick s impact on London. In addition, the museum has several studio booths where patrons can record and actually purchase their sessions. Also, when you re finished you ll find that both the International Fountain and the Space Needle are right outside.
