The staff and doctors have been very professional, compassionate, friendly and accommodating when treating my 79 year old mother. Dr. Beeharry took the time to be sure that we were fully informed about my mother's condition and newly discovered cancer. We live in Lakewood NY and my mother lives in Rochester NY. She was transferred to Hamot from our local hospital after a TIA. They have done everything humanly possible to help us get my mother transferred to a nursing home in Rochester even though she should have been discharged sooner. We have nothing but praise for the team at UPMC Hamot.
