Plenty of good, decent drivers- but if you do have an unpleasant experience or miscommunication, do no expect an iota of customer service or credit on behalf of Gett. The passenger is almost always at fault and they are not looking to service their customers. Today I booked a Gett for a location 5 mins away, and since I had the trip saved in my searches I forgot to double check the address that popped up when I booked. I accidentally chose the same street but in a different city. The drivers I use always double check the location with me- this one didn t and I couldn t see his waze or hear him well due to the plexiglass shield between us (for corona) A few minutes onto the highway I realized what was happening and asked him where he was going- he said I don t know, whatever you plugged in! He couldn t get off the highway for a while and when he did, drove so manic I nearly vomited in the back seat next to my toddler. Gett said it was my mistake and He should take it up with me. He charged me half price of the full trip (80 nis) for his time and I missed my appointment. I think it s logical to double check with a passenger, especially if the same street within the city is a few minutes away. Most passengers aren t booking cabs on a whim for places which are hours away. He didn t speak English, I could barely hear him and couldn t see anything that was happening up front. I don t blame him for taking the money, as it was his time- but mistakes happen and Gett needs to learn from America how to treat loyal customers right.
