After a long absence at the Shopping Center "Pasa Grunwaldzki" in Wroclaw, I had a nice surprise. In anticipation of the screening in Multikino, I walked around (located on the same floor) Foodcourt. And what I experienced there surprised me very pleasantly. Completely different climate from the previous one. Contemporary, sophisticated style referring to the design of the 1960s. Some Polish (good) accents and a general atmosphere conducive to the meeting place of young people. Young enough that such "hipster" places are not associated with crude socialism, they only aspire to the rank of climate places.
Okay, but where is the place for us (year 59)?
I decided to check the place where I had been before (Italian restaurant La Grotta) and "thank God" I was not disappointed. IS !!! In the same place. With a proven menu and traditionally friendly service. But I was surprised to see that we seniors do not dominate there. Youth occupy places there as much as they do in neighboring "fast food".
In addition, you can also see cosmetic changes in the interior design that reluctantly refer to the general climate of the floor but at the same time do not cause a loss of Italian character of the restaurant.
As you can see, in spite of the ubiquitous tendency to introduce radical changes, such places can stay in good shape. And all this thanks to maintaining consistently high standards of both service and served menu.
