A "rustic" themed Holiday Inn with a nice view but...

A "rustic" themed Holiday Inn with a nice view but horrible customer service. At check-in, the staff at the front desk were not very helpful in addressing a booking issue we had, but assured us that the GM would resolve it prior to checkout. All we wanted was to confirm that the rate we were given on the phone was the preferred members rate and clarification that we received from IHG would be accepted for reimbursement. But, the next morning the GM didn't want to resolve the issue and was confrontational, even while rude interacting with us. I don't think our request was unreasonable and I think it would have been addressed much differently at another hotel. Being a gold member I have never experienced such poor customer service at an IHG hotel or any for that matter. I'm very disappointed to have to write a poor review and would not recommend this hotel based on the poor customer service we experienced.
PS...the shower had poor pressure and the A/C wasn't very good either.
