Beautifully ablaze with mile after mile of purple heather covered high top moorland and dramatic valleys & ridges.
Equally beautifully bleak in rain lashed or snow capped winter months.
Home to traditional farming communities, acient villages and small towns.
Good transport links from all quarters with well maintained roads & good walking paths through the moors.
Plenty of pull in laybys for parking up & setting off, or just sitting in the car watching.
