I would NOT recommend this hospital for Labor and Delivery. I had a horrible experience. And this was my fourth child natural birth with epidural no c section. Comparing the first 3 that I had in the State of Georgia compared to here in Cali Tri City it has NOTHING COMPARED! The Care and attitudes of the nurses there and here are by far 100% more caring more involved with the wellbeing and overall hospital experience of the patient in general.

They had a trainee with the person injecting my epidural and she was to assist and I had no problem. She was not the one who was sticking the needle in my back but was standing in front of me supposedly to keep me calm and she did the exact opposite. I m still stressed out about it. She said first don t move and be relaxed that was enough but she was saying relax lower your head while the lady in the back said I m about to inject the epidural now slight pressure the trainee who JUST TOLD ME DONT MOVE AND RELAX is saying over and over while she is injecting me lower ur shoulders relax ur tense don t move so I just said because I was not gonna let her confuse me I said please stop and than l waited till it was over and said as politely as possible Please DONT ever do that again to anyone. It s very nerve wracking she didn t respond and didn t even acknowledge so I said seriously i was very calm because I already did this and been thru this but everyone may not respond the same way and you could end up making a patient more nervous cause she honestly did make me more nervous and that could make them react when they aren t suppose to move at all! If I would have listened to her than I would have been moving when the lady behind me was putting in the epidural. Not cool.

Plus smirks on nurses faces when ur screaming in pain during child labor is not cool either. At All! Or telling a woman to calm down when she is in excruciating pain the worst pain of her life most likely if it was anything like mine. It s the worst pain for each of my births I didn t feel misunderstood by the nurses in GA but here I felt like I was being treated unfairly and not with the compassion a CAREGIVER NURSE is suppose to give during this sensitive time and each time is either As bad or worse than the previous. More understanding amongst all caregivers is needed.

On the bright side; The Midwives and/or Delivery Doctor who delivered me from VCC clinic though was amazing I would say though and does not fall into these categories.
