Our situation: We also knew that there was a good chance that we would not leave for Mallorca on June 21, and wanted to cancel our trip. We could, but we would lose 80% of our amount.
At that time we had not yet made payment (had been postponed by corona).
The woman who spoke to us (Patricia) advised us to wait a bit longer, but in the meantime we kept getting payment reminders.
My desire to leave was already over then, but my friend wanted to make the trip, so we asked if a rebooking was possible.
That was possible, for the price of what we paid per person.
We absolutely had to make a decision that same week (it was then Thursday), otherwise rebooking was no longer possible.
The options were: cancel and lose 80%, rebook and be sure, but impose 50% of the total travel amount, or wait.
We chose to rebook to have some security. Last Sunday we paid everything neatly.
Payment was visible in My Price Free on Tuesday, with the amount of our rebooking as 'overpaid', but that was normal according to them, because Sunmix had yet to confirm the rebooking.
Yesterday we heard that our original booked trip was canceled, as well as our rebooking, and that we would get a stupid voucher.
They can keep their voucher, we just want our money back!
Nice detail: the money from our rebooking suddenly disappeared from 'My Price Free'.
And now of course I don't get any response from them either.
Does anyone know what to do?
I can't even begin to describe how much stress Price Free has already given us ...
