My girlfriend and I took her granddaughter for the tour. We enjoyed it, even though the buildings were closed. People were allowed to look inside, but that was it.Still, there were people in character who were more than happy to explain life in 1830. We also took a tour of the grounds in a horse drawn wagon. The only problem with that is that it is too popular. On our third try we were able to ride. Luckily, there were things to see, so our wait was not that big of a deal. I would certainly recommend this place. It is very kid friendly, but adults can enjoy it too.
