Ordered custom bed in June with a $500 down paymen...

Ordered custom bed in June with a $500 down payment. Was told I would have it by September. Called end of August to confirm and was told should be there on September 7.
Sept 7 came and went and no call or anything so I called on the 8th. The person who answered was very rude as said too bad it would not be u til mid to late OCTOBER! So I said I wished to cancel my order and would like my deposit returned. I was told no that I was in a contract and they do not refun custom order deposits. Even though they were unable to uphold their end of the contract for delivery. Have never heard another word from them. No apology - no trying to make the order right - not a word. Shady business. And total jerks.
