Great service - initially. After the coating started pealing off my lenses a few years later, the $1,100 outlay is now useless. I was advised that to get this long out of the lenses was very good & that it was "out of our hands". I expected better for such expensive lenses from this well known local outlet. It seems they too have adopted the 'not my problem' Canberra attitude towards clients, once they make the sale.

Thanks for the reply. It was more about the attitude as I said on the phone all those months ago. I have been able to have new lenses fitted. The same script & coating for one third of the total cost over 4 years ago. If we subtract the cost for the frames it makes your charge around double for the same lens & coating. This is why I expected a little more helpful advice & a little less "it's out of our hands". You may recall I was looking for advice on how to remove the coating also. BTW, it's the lens manufacturers that provide the 2 year warranty. As I said, great service - initially. But that's as far as it went when I didn't go back & spend another $1,100 two years later.
