We love Kentucky Kingdom and had season passes a couple of years ago. However, this trip was a disappointment.

1. I recently got diagnosed with diabetes. On the way out of the park for lunch we stopped at the snack stand right at the entrance to get drinks. I ordered DIET Mountain Dew. We left, ate lunch, and came back in. We stopped at the same place and ordered a DIET Mountain Dew again. The girl stated that they didn't have diet mountain dew. I asked if they had just run out because I had just ordered it an hour ago. She said this location NEVER had Diet Mountain Dew. This means that I was given REGULAR Mountain Dew, not good for me. I don't usually drink Mountain Dew so I didn't know the difference in the taste. Luckily, my sugar isn't so bad that it would kill me, but there are people that it could. I felt bad with elevated levels the rest of the day.

2. My son rode T3 several times. On the last time he busted his nose on the harness. Accidents happen. My concern was that as he was gushing blood the workers did not offer to help, get him tissues, or do anything. They also did not clean the blood off the ride. He busted his nose at the beginning of the ride so there was blood all in his seat. They just loaded the next load.

3. The water rides. I get that the schedule said limited rides available in the water park for the first week of June. The only things that were opened on time/all day were the lazy river, 2 kiddie areas, and the main wave pool. There were no water rides open until 4, then they closed them at 6. When you spend over 45 minutes in line waiting for one ride, then there isn't much time for much else. We planned this trip and planned on spending the heat of the day cooling off in water rides, but that was impossible.

4. The employees move in slow motion. Not all of them, but a good few of them. I sat strapped in for 3 minutes while 1 girl slowly checked the harnesses. I understand she has to check them, that is not the issue. It was how slowly she moved. I rode it again the next day, and I was on and off in less than 3 minutes.

I love Kentucky Kingdom! I am just hoping that this review will help make improvements to make each experience a 5 star.
