Review of Sheraton Phoenix Downtown

First off, I am not a professional traveler and I do not know the standard level for hotel service. That said, let me start with a list of what I will call issues I had during my stay.
1) parking 2) check-in service 3) call for room service 4) internet service 5) noise

Here is the detail:
The hotel's garage had a ticket for entry arm gate. After reading the sign I took a ticket and parked without issue. The sign provided the cost for parking and said to provide the hotel the ticket for validation. *more to this

2) checked in very late and expected some kind of delay. There was a couple in front of me asking about how long the road this hotel was built on was? (Whaa?) In fairness the hotel employee was doing his best with her.

However, a second employee was standing next to him and watching the conversation for several minutes before even acknowledging me. Then I had to wait for her to "log in" before I got help. (I refer to my previous statement, I expected some kind of delay)

During check-in I was asked for my ID (expected). Then, asked for my credit card for "incidentals" (understood the reason but why if my card was on file and I already prepaid?)

*Last thing I did was hand her my parking ticket and was told I would be charged $25 for parking in the garage. When asked about validation she explained "we don't do that".

3) once in the room I called down to the front desk for assistance with the internet. The employee who answered was very short (as if I was bothering him) and simy said there is no login or password. Use your last name/room number for access and waited four me to disconnect. I suppose I should be grateful he did not hang up on me.

4) No internet service. UNLESS you pay $14.00 for "hish speed".

5) my room faced the city street with no real issue for street noise but there was a party or club blasting music until 1am.

Discount my issues during my stay and look at the physical hotel objectively.

Nice looking, very much attempting to be like Las Vegas with glamour and pricing on amenities. View was okay and of the city.

Parking was safe and I felt comfortable knowing my vehicle would not be stolen or broken into.
