VERY DISAPPOINTING.

VERY DISAPPOINTING.
They were doing so well...

I ve had some very positive experiences at Stanford. However, the recent visit of a family member turned pretty sour, and I realized apparently it s standard practice to medicate and sedate people out of their minds- to the point that they can t even talk.
To add to it, the staff spent the entire day trying to drug the woman in the next bed even though she refused the medication at least 50 times. There is no other word for this than elder abuse. Horrifying.
