My husband did the whole museum in less than an hour. I did two floors in two hours. The difference was I did a tour with a docent. The exhibit by a Persian sculptor would have made no sense to me but with a docent who had a deep understanding of this sculptor brought this artist alive. Modern art is about the artist and if you do not understand the artist, it is hard to understand the art. By learning about the sculptor and his story, it really brought life to his art. If I had not done the tour, I would have done the art in less than 5 minutes. I did the media floor as well. There were some interesting stories, one about the destruction of the old Walker museum, an exhibit where it was more cerebral and made no sense for those who over thing, It was a good floor. For me I left satisfied but would not come back.
