Worse hotel ever and very unprofessional!!! Managers are liars. I stayed in the Westin Galleria Hotel a couple of weeks ago for two nights. The first night, the hot water was not working. We called the desk and they sent the engineer. The engineer said it was fixed. So then I went to take a shower, and got COLD water. Called the desk again and they sent the engineer to our room. The engineer ended up staying in the room until around 1 a.m. trying to fix the water. He then said it was fixed. I called and spoke with a manager who said they would comp the room for the first night. The next morning, I got COLD water again, after the engineer had said it was fixed again. Since I had to go to MD Anderson early in the morning, I wasn't able to call the desk to tell them about the issue until later that afternoon. I called and spoke with another manager who said he would comp the room for that night. The managers I spoke with were Alicia and Patrick. I got my bill that had the full amount on there the next day when I was getting ready to check out. I called and spoke with Alicia who said she would fix the issue. Now, today, I saw that they charged my card for one night after they told me they were comping the two nights. I called and spoke with the manager Ruth who basically said too bad we are charging for the one night. This is ridiculous. I am paying for a run down hotel that couldn't even have hot water. Both nights were ruined by having the dang engineer in our room almost the entire time and then having to move our stuff from one room to another. Not to mention, they added insult to injury by lying about comping the two nights and then only comping one night. Also, I called corporate just now, and some guy unprofessional answered the phone with "Hello." Didn't identify himself or the company. I asked if I had the right number. He didn't seem sure of anything. He told me that I had the right number but nobody would be there until Tuesday. Sounded really unprofessional.
