It is an unacceptable business practice to get hac...

It is an unacceptable business practice to get hacked and not inform people who might be vulnerable that it happened. Recently got an email from someone at Enttec and recognized it as a scam. I called to let them know and they said they were aware that scam emails were coming from one of their email addresses. That was about a week ago and they STILL haven't reached out with a warning that the email was fraudulent. Like I said, unacceptable. Their gear is fine, but own up to your mistakes.

We take our own & our customers cyber security very seriously. We've been sure to look back into this case. On review the issue raised was a 3rd party bot was pretending to be ENTTEC's management team for a short period. - These emails were not originating from an ENTTEC owned account from within our system and no data was compromised from our system. As ever we really appreciate that you reached out to warn our team about this when it happened.
