Stayed at the awesome Mangawhare historic homestead just a few kms out from Fernhill Napier on the Taihape Rd.
Our wonderful hostess Trace produced a bottle of Alpha Domus Navigator to have with our meal. So so nice that out next stop the following day was Alpha Domus winery. Short story we loaded up their very special Navigator brand (blend of cab sav,cab franc,malbec& merlot).
Make a track there the aviator history is just wine pretty.
