Very pretentious food, does not cater to the common person. A glossary isn't very useful if you only define a third of your hipster foods.
Coffee was good.
$6 for some bacon - must be a royal pig!
Service very lacking! A young waiter told me to wait because he was busy even though they'd forgotten the request that was made 15minutes earlier. After the third time we had to make the request for a condiment I decided to complain. Staff acted as if I was being dramatic and it was the first time it had been brought to their attention.
No real attention to table service either. You will be left with your dirty plates until you make a scene. Same goes for water.
I note the cafe has a huge story on providing opportunities to youth who need it. I think this is fantastic, however, better training is clearly required.
Apparently no split bills on the weekend. This might be common among restaurants and cafes, but maybe it could be more clearly signed.
