Hey, retailers bemoaning the existence of the Internet, get over yourselves and get to Newbury Comics. Toy stores, music stores, and comic book shops can't stay in business anywhere, yet Newbury is all 3 and killing it. How? By selling stuff that people actually want to buy, and having a nerdy staff capable of talking about anything from Japanese manga to classical music. Anytime I find myself needing to kill time, I wander in and browse the whimsical / wacky / nerdy toys, kitsch and games. I almost always walk out with something I didn't need or even knew existed, but it adds much happiness to my life. Do you know what a domo-kun is? If so, you need Newbury Comics in your life
