The size of the tanks is smaller than the average I have seen all over the world. Not rescued animals live in these tiny buckets but they have been bread and raised in them! One poor turtle has endured 42 years of living in confinements like this. The gift shop of course is bigger that both turtle tanks. An absolute disgrace. Places like these make me fund PETA so these displays under the cloak of science will some day soon come to a stop.
Have to say that staff was very friendly and the tanks were clean and well maintained. This is what made me reconsider and go for a second star.
We only did the turtle, otter and manatee exhibit - too shocked to check out the other building complex
