I might normally be tempted to wax lyrically about how the restaurant and the food were amazing. On this occasion I'm going to keep it brief so not to lose the sense of occasion. It is, exceptional!

We visited on the last day of the season, and the man himself was there with a big smile and warm welcome. His presence in the kitchen meant there was never a doubt this last day of the season would produce outstanding service and phenomenal food. For those who have been and tried the steak, can I just say wow! How good was that carrot?
